Good Morning Britain star Richard Arnold, 56, has announced his engagement to his partner of 23 years, Stuart. Arnold shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of himself and Stuart beaming, with Arnold dressed in a kilt and pink fur sporran.

Their Cockapoo, Clementine, also appeared to celebrate the occasion, wearing a bow that read 'I do too.' Arnold captioned the post "The splice of life," followed by a ring emoji.

Celebrity friends and colleagues flooded the comments with congratulations. Susanna Reid called it "THE BIGGEST BESTEST NEWS," while Ruth Langsford wrote, "How wonderful! Congratulations and wishing you all the happiness in the world." Charlotte Hawkins and Lorraine Kelly also sent their well wishes.

Arnold has generally kept his relationship private, though he has occasionally mentioned Stuart on air. In August, he humorously recounted an argument with his partner over a shower attachment. In 2024, Arnold expressed his desire to marry, stating that he and Stuart, together for 19 years at that point, were still waiting for a ring.

Arnold began his television career in 1997 as a TV critic for GMTV. He later became the Entertainment Editor for Good Morning Britain upon its launch on ITV in 2014. Arnold and Stuart have been together since the early 2000s and reside in London with Clementine.
