Richard Arnold Engaged to Long-Term Partner

Good Morning Britain star Richard Arnold, 56, has announced he is engaged to his partner of 23 years. Arnold shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo with his partner, Stuart.

The couple's dog, Clementine, was also featured in a photo wearing a bow that read "I do too."

Arnold captioned the post "The splice of life," accompanied by a ring emoji. The announcement was met with congratulatory messages from his celebrity friends and colleagues.

Susanna Reid commented, "THE BIGGEST BESTEST NEWS - massive congratulations and tons of love." Ruth Langsford wrote, "How wonderful! Congratulations and wishing you all the happiness in the world ❤️❤️ The pink sporran is on point!" Charlotte Hawkins and Lorraine Kelly also sent their well wishes.

Arnold has largely kept his personal life private, though he has been with Stuart since the early 2000s. They reside in London with their dog. Arnold has occasionally mentioned his partner on air, including an anecdote about a dispute over a shower attachment.

In 2024, Arnold had expressed a desire to marry, stating, "Still no ring on my finger, but I'm waiting." He joined GMTV as a TV critic in 1997 and later became the Entertainment Editor for Good Morning Britain upon its launch in 2014.
