Rich Paul Fuels Marriage Rumors with Adele, Referring to Her as 'My Wife'

Rich Paul, the prominent sports agent, has once again prompted speculation about his marriage to singer Adele, referring to her as "my wife" in a newly surfaced video. The couple, who were first linked in 2021, have been the subject of marriage rumors since Adele confirmed their engagement in August 2024 during a concert in Munich, Germany.

During the concert, Adele responded to a fan's playful marriage proposal by stating, "I can't marry you because I'm already getting married." This comment, along with her subsequent references to Paul as her "husband," has led many fans to believe they have secretly tied the knot.

The latest fuel for these rumors comes from a video clip posted by Media Haus Co. In the video, Paul is challenged by Rel Tait to complete a crossword puzzle within 60 seconds. When asked about the last time he did a word search, Paul replied, "Man, it's been a while. But my wife do them every morning." This direct reference to Adele as his wife has amplified existing speculation.

Paul recently offered a glimpse into his relationship with Adele on the "Glass Half Full" podcast with Craig Melvin. He shared that they met "through a friend" and had known each other for some time before their relationship became romantic. He described their connection as organic, explaining that they frequently encountered each other in the same social circles. "We just used to always see each other, laugh and joke. It was just cordial, really, just cordial," he recalled, before jokingly adding that things eventually became "not so cordial."

Paul also admitted that he was not an avid listener of Adele's music before their relationship, though he was familiar with her major hits. Adele, who has sold over 120 million records worldwide, has not publicly commented on Paul's latest remark.

Adele has two children: a 14-year-old son, Angelo, from her previous marriage to Simon Konecki, and Paul has three children: Reonna, Richie, and Zane. Both Adele and Paul have expressed desires to expand their blended family. Adele has spoken about wanting to be a mother again soon, even sharing names she liked, such as Parker and Spencer, and hinting that Paul liked the name Parker. She also mentioned liking the name Ray for a girl.
