Rhode Island Housewives Enemies Now Friends: Tiberi and Pontarelli End Feud

Longtime adversaries Jo-Ellen Tiberi and Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, stars of "Real Housewives of Rhode Island," have declared their friendship restored. The reconciliation was revealed at the 2026 "Virtual Reali-Tea" Awards, where the two cast members shared that they have "bridged the gap" after a period of significant animosity.

Rulla stated that the pair experienced an "epiphany," leading to a mending of their relationship. Tiberi confirmed this, explaining that the resolution came after Rulla's husband, Brian Pontarelli, admitted to his affair. Tiberi expressed satisfaction with this outcome, saying, "I was vindicated."

The feud between Tiberi and Rulla Nehme Pontarelli began prior to the filming of "RHORI" Season 1. Rulla accused Tiberi of spreading rumors about Brian's affair and showing others photos of him with another woman. Throughout Season 1 and its reunion special, Tiberi presented evidence, including a video and social media photos, that she claimed proved Brian's affair with a Cranston-based aesthetician, Beth Walker, was ongoing during filming.

Tiberi also alleged that the Pontarellis attempted to have her fired from her office job. The conflict escalated to personal insults during the Season 1 reunion, with Rulla calling Tiberi a "slut" and Tiberi threatening physical harm. Despite the heated exchanges, the two were unable to resolve their differences during the reunion.

However, by the time of the 2026 "Virtual Reali-Tea" Awards, where the "RHORI" cast accepted the "Best Cast" award, the dynamic appeared to have changed. Both Pontarelli and Tiberi indicated that filming for "RHORI" Season 2 provided a fresh start.

On a personal note, Rulla and Brian Pontarelli have also navigated their marital challenges. Brian commented on their red carpet appearance that their family is "stronger than ever," emphasizing that "with hard work and dedication and, most importantly, love, we can get through it," sharing their experience as a message to other families facing similar issues. "The Real Housewives of Rhode Island" Season 1 is available for streaming on Peacock.
