Retired Admiral Suggests UFOs May Be Hiding in Earth's Oceans
A former NOAA administrator proposes the largely unexplored ocean depths as a potential hiding place for extraterrestrial craft, coinciding with claims of an underwater alien base entrance off Canada.
Humanity has yet to establish contact with extraterrestrial life, and a retired U.S. Navy admiral has put forth a theory that they may be concealed within Earth's vast oceans. Tim Gallaudet, who previously served as the acting administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), suggested that the deep ocean could serve as an ideal location for alien craft to avoid detection.
During an appearance on the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast, Gallaudet stated that the most unexplored region on Earth is the ocean, making it a logical choice for concealment. He noted that only about 10 percent of the ocean's volume has been explored using current technology, leaving much of its mystery undiscovered.
Gallaudet's comments emerged as UFO researcher Scott C. Waring claimed to have identified an entrance to an underwater alien base off the Canadian coast. Waring reported finding a hole in the waters near Nunavut, approximately 3,000 feet in diameter and situated 32 feet below the surface, which he believes serves as a tunnel for alien craft.
Gallaudet also shared a video during the interview that he claimed depicted unidentified objects moving underwater before surfacing without causing significant disturbance. He indicated awareness of other similar videos and suggested that the observed phenomena involve technology beyond current human understanding.
He further elaborated that these objects appear capable of breaking the sound barrier without the sonic boom typically associated with supersonic flight, a capability he finds inexplicable with present technology. Gallaudet previously testified under oath before Congress in 2024, recounting a 2015 incident involving near-midair collisions with UFOs during a carrier strike group exercise and the subsequent disappearance of a related report.
Additionally, Gallaudet asserted that Earth is visited by non-human intelligence utilizing advanced technology with extraordinary flight and transmedium capabilities. While Gallaudet has not specified potential locations for UFO bases, Waring believes he has pinpointed an entrance.
Waring proposed that a remotely operated or autonomous underwater drone could investigate the suspected tunnel and search for signs of alien life. He suggested such an operation could yield footage from depths too dangerous for human exploration and potentially open a channel of communication with extraterrestrials.
Similar assertions regarding underwater UFOs have been made by David Grusch, a former intelligence officer who has assisted lawmakers in UFO transparency efforts. Grusch testified under oath in 2023 that the U.S. government possesses decades-old secret programs focused on recovering and reverse-engineering non-human spacecraft. He also stated in a recent interview that officials are aware of at least one large underwater facility used by extraterrestrials as a 'base of operations.'
Grusch described the facility as being 'multiple city-block-type stuff' and noted that 'stuff comes and goes' from it. He claimed his information originated from top-secret program files, videos, and accounts from government and military insiders. However, both the U.S. military and the White House have consistently stated that no physical evidence has been found to prove the existence of UFOs and alien life.
