Officials are scheduled to meet with a complainant in the coming days to discuss concerns about dredging activities in St. Aubin's Bay. The meeting aims to address issues raised by residents following recent harbor clearance work.

A letter sent to residents stated that the work was carried out on March 19. In the correspondence, officials acknowledged the concerns brought forward regarding seagrass, wildlife, beach conditions, and access to St. Aubin's Fort. While not currently aware of evidence directly linking the harbor clearance works to all described issues, officials recognized the seriousness of the concerns raised.

The letter also indicated that an in-person meeting would provide an opportunity to explain the background of the works and allow residents to voice their concerns directly. This meeting is intended to foster a clearer understanding between the community and the authorities responsible for the dredging operations.
