Rep. Randy Fine Asserts Democrats Prioritize Anti-Trump Sentiment Over National Security Concerns Regarding Iran

Florida Republican Congressman Randy Fine has asserted that Democrats' opposition to former President Donald Trump leads them to side with Iran, a stance he believes undermines national security and the broader fight for Western civilization. In a recent interview, Fine argued that the U.S. must prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, characterizing the current situation as a losing battle against radical Islam.

Fine specifically targeted Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., calling for her deportation if she has engaged in immigration fraud. He cited allegations of fraud surrounding her financial disclosures and her immigration status, suggesting she should be denaturalized and deported if the claims are substantiated. A request for comment from Omar's office was not returned.

Concerns Over Islam and Political Correctness

Beyond the specific case of Omar, Fine expressed broader concerns about the influence of "mainstream Islam" and what he perceives as a societal inability to address these issues due to political correctness. He referenced a video depicting a mosque allegedly showing the "erasing of a church and the building of a mosque" and fundraising on a premise of eliminating Christianity in the U.S. "People are absolutely petrified to speak the truth about it," Fine stated, warning that if the U.S. is unwilling to confront these issues, its fate could mirror that of the "United Islamic Kingdom."

Fine also commented on the recent call by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for the American electorate to oppose Donald Trump in midterm elections. He interpreted this as evidence that Democrats are aligned with Iran "simply because they hate Donald Trump." He believes that this Democratic support for Iran emboldens the Iranian regime, allowing them to perceive an opportunity to acquire nuclear weapons by waiting out a Republican administration. "Muslim terrorists in Iran have endorsed the Democratic Party. That's who you're voting for. You're voting it for the people supported by Muslim terrorists if you vote Democrat," Fine claimed.

America First and Iran's Nuclear Ambitions

Fine articulated his foreign policy through an "America First" lens, stating that regime change in Iran should not be an explicit goal unless the nation threatens American interests. However, he emphasized that Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons and long-range missiles capable of reaching the United States is an unacceptable threat. "For 47 years, the mainstream Muslim religious leaders who've run Iran have said 'death to America.' They've killed thousands of Americans. They're trying to build missiles that can reach America. They're trying to build a nuclear weapon that can reach America, so stopping that is in our interest," he said.

He asserted that the U.S. cannot allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon, referencing intelligence that indicated Iran was close to such a capability. "We had explicit intelligence that they were getting close. And so we did something about it. And I absolutely support that," Fine added, indicating his backing for actions taken to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. He concluded that ensuring Iran cannot develop nuclear weapons is a core element of an "America First" foreign policy.
