Rep. Nancy Mace Jabs at Unwanted Explicit Photos with 'Go COCKS!' Post
The South Carolina congresswoman's social media post followed her recent statements about men sending unsolicited intimate pictures to her direct messages.
Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., appeared to make a pointed reference to unsolicited intimate photos sent by men in her direct messages with a social media post on Saturday. Mace shared a picture of herself at a University of South Carolina football game with the caption "Go COCKS!". The congresswoman added "IYKYK," an acronym for "if you know, you know," to further emphasize the intended double entendre, which plays on the nickname of the university's mascot, the Gamecocks.
This post came shortly after Mace, 48, told TMZ that she wants men to "stop sending d–k pics." When asked by the outlet if she receives such images, she responded, "sometimes, and that’s just nasty." Mace also stated that she rejects every man who attempts to contact her through direct messages.
On Sunday, Mace posted a video discussing a disappointing date and reiterating her current disinterest in dating, stating she has "gone off men." She described the challenges of dating as a twice-divorced mother of two with grown children, particularly while working in Washington, D.C.
Mace's term in Congress will conclude in January. She did not seek re-election to the House after an unsuccessful bid for governor, where she finished fifth in the Republican primary.
