Ant Anstead shared a glimpse into his son Hudson's relationship with his girlfriend, actress Renee Zellweger, in a birthday tribute. Hudson, who turned seven, was featured in an Instagram post by Anstead that highlighted moments shared with Zellweger, his partner of five years.
One image in the post showed Hudson wearing a bejeweled crown and looking at Zellweger as she held him. In another clip, Zellweger and Hudson were seen running barefoot on the beach. The couple, who met on the set of Celebrity IOU: Joyride, have maintained a relatively private relationship.
Last year, Zellweger spoke about her life in Southern California, mentioning her partner and his son. Anstead has previously described Zellweger as "the best human I've ever met" in an interview on Jeremy Vine on 5, calling her "absolutely brilliant" and a "genius." He also noted her involvement in decisions regarding the farmhouse he is restoring for a show.
Anstead, who was married to Christina Haack from 2018 to 2021, also has two older children, Amelie and Archie, from a previous marriage. He and Haack went through a contentious custody battle for their son Hudson, which Anstead described as "shameful" that it took years to reach an amicable co-parenting relationship. They settled their custody agreement in December 2022, continuing joint legal and physical custody of Hudson.
