Referee Adrian Hill Berates Vikings Linebacker Eric Wilson After Accidental Collision
An interaction between an NFL official and a player drew attention during the Vikings' victory over the Dolphins.

During Sunday's matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Miami Dolphins, referee Adrian Hill engaged in a heated exchange with Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson following an incidental on-field collision. The incident occurred on a third-down play that was ultimately nullified by an offsides penalty.
Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II inadvertently shoved Wilson, causing the linebacker to bump into Hill. While Hill did not throw a penalty flag on Wilson, he was seen audibly reprimanding the player, instructing him to return to the huddle. The NFL on Fox social media account captured the interaction and posted a video, which was later removed.
The game itself saw the Vikings defeat the Dolphins 15-10. Minnesota's defense, described as league-leading, held Miami to 10 points and under 200 yards of total offense. The Vikings secured the win without scoring an offensive touchdown, marking the second time this season they have achieved victory in such a manner. This win improved Minnesota's record to 4-0, keeping them atop the NFC North.
Referees were a significant presence throughout the game, with a combined total of 15 penalties called against both teams in the first half, nearly matching a season-high mark set earlier in the day. The league-leading defense, under the guidance of defensive coordinator Brian Flores, limited Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis to 77 passing yards.
