Redmayne and Wife Attend Star-Studded Paris Event
Actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe made a rare joint appearance at a Saint Laurent party in Paris.
Actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe attended a Saint Laurent party in Paris on Thursday, marking a rare public appearance for the couple.
The couple, who are parents to daughter Iris, ten, and son Luke, eight, both wore black ensembles for the event. Bagshawe opted for a mini dress, while Redmayne was seen in a jumper and tie.
Redmayne, 44, and Bagshawe, 43, have known each other for 26 years and are set to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary in December. They first met in 2000 at a charity fashion show when Redmayne was attending Eton College and Bagshawe was at a nearby girls' boarding school.
Their relationship did not begin until January 2012, when Redmayne invited Bagshawe on a trip to Florence during a break from filming Les Miserables. He recalled to the Daily Mail in 2015 that their first official date was in Florence.
They became engaged in June 2014 and married later that year in December.
Redmayne has previously spoken about how Bagshawe helps keep him grounded amidst the demands of his acting career. He described her as an "absolute saint" and noted the benefit of having a partner who provides a different perspective on the "joyous, absurd circus" of the entertainment industry.
Recently, Redmayne produced and starred in the Sky series "The Day of the Jackal," earning nominations for various awards. His next project is the thriller film "Panic Carefully," scheduled for a spring 2027 release, which also features Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Olsen.
