Rebel Wilson Lists Sydney Waterfront Home for $3.8 Million
The Australian actress is selling her Birchgrove property, which she purchased in 2022.
Rebel Wilson has placed her Sydney waterfront home in Birchgrove on the market with a price guide of $3.8 million.
The Australian actress acquired the four-bedroom property in 2022 for $3.6 million through her company, Camp Sugar. The Victorian cottage, originally built in the 1890s, is situated on a 274-square-meter lot and is located a short distance from Snails Bay waterfront.
The residence features high ceilings, Kauri timber floorboards, and modernized interiors. The upper level includes a skylit retreat and an infrared sauna. Wilson previously used this home as her primary Australian base.
The property is being handled by Anna Wilson, Rebel Wilson's younger sister and a real estate agent who has previously managed sales for other properties owned by the actress.
This sale follows other recent property transactions by Wilson in Sydney. She recently sold an investment property in the nearby suburb of Balmain. Initially listed for auction in 2024 with a price of $3.3 million, the two-bedroom, two-bathroom Balmain flat was later removed from the market.
After attempts to sell the Balmain property, the price was reportedly advised to be reduced to $2.2 million. Instead, Wilson opted to rent it out for $1,200 per week. Her sister, Anna, was then enlisted to manage a new sales campaign, listing it for $2 million.
Wilson originally purchased the Balmain apartment off the plan in 2018 for $1.8 million. It is understood that she resided in this property while renovating her waterside home in Birchgrove.
Wilson, 46, currently divides her time between Los Angeles, London, and Australia. Over the past several months, she has been actively selling properties in both Sydney and Los Angeles. Her international property portfolio is estimated to be worth over $20 million, accumulated over the last decade.
