Reality TV Star Fleure Embraces Anti-Vax, Off-Grid Lifestyle
Former 'Bachelor' contestant Laurina Fleure announces business closure and removes children from school, citing 'brainwashing' and embracing conspiracy theories.
Laurina Fleure, a figure who gained notoriety on the 2014 season of "The Bachelor Australia" for her outspoken remarks, is reportedly adopting a new way of life centered on anti-vaccination sentiments and an off-grid existence. Fleure, who has also undergone significant cosmetic procedures, has recently taken to social media to express beliefs in conspiracy theories and spirituality.
This shift has culminated in her decision to close her wellness and beauty business, Beauty Aqua, and to withdraw her children from the school system, which she described as a place of "brainwashing and distorted social conditioning." In a social media post, Fleure stated that seeing photographs of her son Bassi from his former crèche left her heartbroken, interpreting a "lonely sorrow" in his eyes. She emphasized that financial gain is secondary to spending time with her children.
Fleure's new direction also includes claims about vaccinations. She has shared posts suggesting that one of her vaccinated children became ill while her unvaccinated child remained well. While acknowledging that illness following vaccination does not prove causation, she has referred to vaccines as "poison" in recent statements. Fleure has also spoken of a spiritual revelation, which she attributed to divine feminine energy and figures like the Egyptian goddess Isis and Mary Magdalene, envisioning a "new earth" where households grow their own food and suburbs feature organic fruit forests.
Beyond her evolving lifestyle and beliefs, Fleure's appearance has also changed over the years. She has been open about undergoing various cosmetic procedures, including breast surgery, ear pinning, liposuction, and Botox, stating in 2016 that she was "all for plastic surgery."
Fleure first rose to public attention during Blake Garvey's season of "The Bachelor" in 2014, where a comment about being taken on a date for a "dirty street pie" went viral. She later appeared on "Bachelor in Paradise" in 2018 but departed the show after a few weeks.
