Made In Chelsea personality Harry Baron and his girlfriend Savannah Snyder were among the attendees at a recent Formula 1 event held at Silverstone, coinciding with the Grand Prix weekend. The couple was present at a VELO-hosted experience celebrating the brand's partnership with the McLaren Formula 1® Team.
Snyder appeared in a cream waistcoat and matching trousers, while Baron opted for a crisp ensemble. The event also featured legendary racing driver Mika Häkkinen, who offered insights into his career with McLaren.
Häkkinen was present to unveil "The Collectables," a range of signed Lando Norris 2022 car parts. He reflected on his time with McLaren, stating, "McLaren was my home for a very important part of my life and career." He also emphasized the significance of Silverstone as a historic circuit and acknowledged the role of dedicated Formula 1 fans in carrying the team's history.
"The fans are so loyal and bring so much energy," Häkkinen commented. "Here at Silverstone, it is special to see VELO helping bring those fans closer to the action, through these pieces of the MCL36 and I'm honoured to help share the story they tell."
Carolina Ponte Ledezma, Head of Consumer Experience at British American Tobacco, remarked on the event's theme, stating, "Formula 1 is built on passion, innovation and fandom." She added, "Through our partnership with McLaren Formula 1® Team, we're proud to help bring those elements together by giving fans a closer look at the people and technology behind one of motorsport's most iconic teams and giving them a chance to be in the moment for themselves."
The event provided attendees with insights into the sport and an opportunity to interact with figures from both motorsport and reality television. Baron, described as an "F1 fanatic," joined the show "Made In Chelsea" in 2019. The gathering also included host Andre Dixon, who engaged with Häkkinen about his career.
