Samie Elishi, a former contestant on Love Island, revealed she was prevented from entering the show's set in Majorca for the final Aftersun episode. Elishi, who appeared on season nine of the reality series, traveled to the Spanish island with her boyfriend Tyrique Hyde to watch the finale.
According to a TikTok video posted by Elishi, she and her companions were informed they were not allowed to watch the show. She stated that they were unsure of the reason for the denial of entry and that their pre-arranged seats in the audience were revoked. Elishi reported that she and two others, Harry Cooksley and Kane Ruddach, were escorted back to a holding villa.
Despite the setback, Elishi managed to watch the finale by accessing the show on her phone in a location with sufficient signal, using a tripod. She described the experience as not what they had anticipated but noted that Hyde performed well.
Representatives for Elishi and ITV, the show's broadcaster, have been contacted for comment regarding the incident. The report also briefly mentioned Elishi's past modeling appearances in Miami and a previous on-air moment where Hyde explained covering another woman's nipple at a party, which caused a reaction from Elishi.
