Billie Faiers, known for her roles in reality television, has decided to step away from the spotlight and focus on her personal life and business interests. Sources close to Faiers indicate she is "done with television" and seeking a quieter existence with her husband, Greg Shepherd, and their three children in Brentwood, Essex.
This decision follows the conclusion of her recent television ventures. The show "Sam & Billie: Sister Act," which documented Faiers and her sister Sam's entrepreneurial pursuits, was dropped by ITV after only one series. Faiers' television company, Billie Faiers Enterprises, established shortly after she joined "The Only Way Is Essex" in 2011, is reportedly set to complete liquidation by July 12. This process is expected to allow Faiers to withdraw profits from the company.
Faiers' financial future appears secure, with reports suggesting she will receive over £1.2 million from the liquidation of her company. Her overall wealth is estimated at £4 million, derived from her social media presence and various business enterprises. She maintains a significant following of 2.5 million on Instagram, where she engages in brand collaborations. Faiers also has a clothing collection with supermarket chain Asda and founded the home and lifestyle brand Chapter B, which offers home decor items. Additionally, she runs MyNelly, a jewelry and watch wholesale company named after her eldest child, which reportedly holds nearly £1 million in assets.
Her husband, Greg Shepherd, is also involved in business, working as a broker and co-managing Picture Property Sourcing, a firm that provides property deals to investors. He is also a director of EHG Travel, an events company.
Faiers' career in television began with "The Only Way Is Essex" and included "Sam & Billie: The Mummy Diaries," which followed her and her sister Sam through motherhood, and "The Family Diaries" with her husband. She and Sam also co-founded the clothing business Minnies Boutique during their "TOWIE" days, though Billie now operates it independently after Sam's departure in 2017.
The decision to leave television comes after a period of evolving relationships with her sister Sam. While sources previously indicated a rift between the sisters, exacerbated by Sam's move to Surrey while Billie remained in Brentwood, reports suggest they are now on better terms. One source characterized Billie as more "down to earth" and focused on her family, while describing Sam as "fame hungry and obsessed with making millions."
