Reality television personality Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace was taken to the hospital after an attack by an XL Bully dog, which left her with a severe injury requiring extensive medical attention. The 47-year-old, known for her appearance on the seventh series of 'Big Brother,' described the incident as agonizing and fears she will be scarred for life.

Horgan-Wallace shared details of the attack on social media, posting a picture with the dog taken shortly before the bite. She stated the animal bit down to the bone, exposing it. "This dog loved me, then for a split second for no reason he didn't… Please please please understand how to raise and how these babies can switch," she wrote, emphasizing her love for dogs and her experience as a dog owner.

While awaiting treatment in the emergency room, Horgan-Wallace posted an update, noting the severity of the injury. "I've been bitten by an XL BULLY!!!!! You can see my f bone thank GOD for my girl," she posted alongside a photo with a friend. She later clarified that the injury was not to her neck or face but expressed her sadness about the permanent scarring. She also highlighted the importance of responsible dog ownership and leadership with powerful breeds, stating, "Dogs are pack animals they need you to be their leader. It makes them feel safe to know you are in control."

In the UK, owners of XL Bully dogs are required to possess a valid Certificate of Exemption. This document legally permits the keeping of a dog that would otherwise be prohibited under law, provided specific conditions are met. These certificates became a requirement for XL Bullies in England and Wales after a ban on the breed came into effect. Owners who had XL Bullies before the relevant deadlines were able to apply for an exemption during a designated period.

Horgan-Wallace's public profile has also included her personal life, with recent revelations about her relationships. In March, she announced a new relationship with a boxer boyfriend, sharing photos of them on social media. She described him as a former childhood sweetheart with whom she had recently reunited. Previously, in May 2024, she disclosed a 'cyber' romance with a US basketball player whom she had never met in person, despite them being officially together.
