Real Housewives' Children Face Legal Battles Off-Screen

The legal troubles of children of "Real Housewives" stars are surfacing even when cameras are not rolling. Most recently, Teresa Giudice claimed her daughter Milania, 20, had "fentanyl in her system" during an incident at Tampa International Airport.

Bodycam footage obtained by Page Six revealed Milania's exchange with officers during the airport encounter. Her mother stated that Milania had been experiencing significant emotional distress following the loss of two friends. Milania pleaded not guilty in June to a simple assault charge in New Jersey stemming from an arrest the previous month. Her next court hearing is scheduled for December 1.

Milania's legal issues are not isolated. KJ Biermann, 15, son of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, was indicted in August on seven counts, including aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy. These charges stem from an alleged incident in April. Biermann's legal team has denied the allegations, and KJ was granted a $200,000 bond in September.

Bryson Bryant, son of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes, was booked on a contempt of court charge in July. This followed a May arrest for allegedly failing to pay court-ordered child support and violating probation. His probation violation was reportedly linked to a previous case where authorities claimed Bryant was found with fentanyl. He was sentenced to 12 months probation for providing a false name during that arrest.

Alexa Curtin, daughter of former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Lynne Curtin, received a 68-day jail sentence in 2021 for multiple criminal charges. She was also sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay restitution. Curtin has previously spoken about her struggles with addiction, citing the public portrayal of her family on the show as a contributing factor.

These instances highlight a pattern of legal challenges faced by the children of "Real Housewives" cast members, extending beyond the narratives presented on the reality television series.
