‘Reacher’ Renewed for Sixth Season on Prime Video

Prime Video has renewed the Alan Ritchson-led series "Reacher" for a sixth season, signaling continued confidence in the show's success. The early renewal comes as production is underway for the show's fifth season.

Based on Lee Child's best-selling novels, "Reacher" follows former U.S. Army military police major Jack Reacher as he travels across the United States, assisting those in need and confronting individuals and organizations with malicious intent. The series has achieved considerable global reach, with its fourth season drawing 66 million viewers worldwide within its first 28 days on Prime Video. This performance places "Reacher" Season 4 among the top five most-viewed seasons of any original series in the streaming service's history.

"Together with our partners at Paramount Television Studios, we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey. 'Reacher' is a truly iconic series, and we’re thrilled to be on the ride with this extraordinary cast and crew for Season Six."

The upcoming fifth season of "Reacher" will be based on the 20th book in the series, "Make Me." Information regarding the specific Lee Child novel that will serve as the basis for the sixth season has not yet been released.

While there is no official release date for "Reacher" Season 6, the fifth season is anticipated to debut on Prime Video in the fall or winter of 2027, with production currently taking place in Toronto.
