Ray-Ban Heir Claims Paternity Tests Exonerate Him in Pregnancy Dispute
Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio states multiple tests confirmed he is not the father of Jessica Serfaty's child, amid separate allegations against the model.
Ray-Ban heir Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio has stated that three paternity tests have confirmed he is not the father of soap opera star Jessica Serfaty's baby. The dispute comes as Serfaty faces separate accusations detailed in a court filing, including allegedly supplying her son with ketamine.
Del Vecchio, 31, recounted in an interview that Serfaty informed him in August that she was pregnant but was unsure if he or another man was the father. According to Del Vecchio, he arranged for Serfaty and medical professionals to travel to Sardinia, where the first paternity test was conducted aboard his yacht. Subsequent tests in Milan also indicated he was not the father.
Del Vecchio claims he and Serfaty were intimate in early July in Monaco. He stated that shortly after, Serfaty traveled to Rome where she had relations with another man, described as a liquor industry mogul. A recording of a phone call reviewed by The Post captures Serfaty acknowledging the encounter and discussing the paternity tests.
Serfaty publicly denied pregnancy rumors on Oct. 13, telling Page Six, "Not pregnant. Most definitely not with Leo." Del Vecchio, however, maintains Serfaty has been attacking him publicly due to the paternity test results, allegations she has denied.
In the same interview, Del Vecchio also addressed claims that he hired a reputation-management operative to smear Serfaty. He denied orchestrating any such campaign, asserting that Serfaty made false allegations and reputational damage against him after learning the paternity results.
Separately, a court filing alleges that Serfaty provided her then-17-year-old son, Roman, and his friends with what they believed to be ketamine at an after-party in Los Angeles on her birthday in April. The filing, submitted by Serfaty's ex-husband Ididia Serfaty and including statements from Roman, also claims Jessica Serfaty struck Roman on the back in August, leaving a welt. Roman Serfaty reportedly informed the Los Angeles Police Department of the incident in October.
Jessica Serfaty has denied supplying drugs to her son. In a transcript included in the filing, she stated, "The only time I have ever heard my son ask for drugs was once, and he said it was for a friend, and I never gave him anything." She also acknowledged slapping her son in August, stating he had behaved threateningly toward her.
Del Vecchio, one of eight heirs to the fortune of his father, who founded eyewear giant Luxottica, is involved in family disputes over control of his family's investment company, Delfin. He previously made headlines for claiming in a podcast interview that he had been intimate with over 2,000 women, often winning them over by singing Enrique Iglesias's song "Hero."
