Los Angeles Rams tight end Terrance Ferguson and his wife, Sophia, announced Tuesday that they are expecting their first child, a baby girl, due in early 2027. The couple shared the news on Instagram with a photograph featuring a pink Nike baby outfit, tiny pink Air Jordans, a pregnancy test, an ultrasound photo, and a sign reading, “Baby Ferguson coming 2027.” Their two dogs completed the family portrait wearing matching pink bandanas that declared, “It’s a girl.”
The Fergusons accompanied the announcement with a Bible passage from 1 Samuel 1:19-20. The couple married on July 13, 2025, and have frequently shared glimpses of their relationship, travels, and life together on social media.
Congratulations quickly poured in from fellow players and partners. Kelly Stafford, wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, shared the announcement to her Instagram Story, writing, “Another baby girl getting added to the Ramily.” The Rams’ official account added, “Congratulations,” while Hallie Aiono wrote, “So excited for you.”
Ferguson’s former Oregon teammate and current New York Jets tight end Kenyon Sadiq commented, “let’s gooo! Congratulations!” Former Rams running back Jarquez Hunter added, “Congrats bro.”
Selected by Los Angeles with the No. 46 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Ferguson entered his sophomore season expected to take another step after showing flashes as a rookie. His season began Thursday in Melbourne, where he was targeted once and held without a catch in the Rams’ 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
