Amidst Hispanic Heritage Month, Los Angeles Rams players participated in a lighthearted exchange, sharing their favorite Spanish phrases and words ahead of their upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wide receiver Davante Adams offered, “Yo quiero Taco Bell,” referencing his endorsement with the fast-food chain. Defensive player Steve Avila responded with, “No mames guey,” while Tutu Atwell simply smiled and said, “Hola.”
Kobie Turner, a defensive end for the Rams, shared a phrase his mother-in-law often says to her children: “Te amo del tamaño del cielo,” which translates to “I love you the size of the sky.” Turner noted, “It’s a really nice one. I like it.”
These moments of camaraderie occurred as the Rams prepared for a critical Week 4 matchup against the Eagles. Both teams are coming off recent losses, making the game particularly important for their standings. The Eagles suffered an unexpected defeat to the Chicago Bears, who were without their starting quarterback, Caleb Williams. Similarly, the Rams experienced a significant second-half collapse against the Denver Broncos, squandering a 16-point lead to lose the game.
The Rams and Eagles are both seeking a crucial victory to rebound from their recent performances and strengthen their position in the league.
