The Los Angeles Rams have reportedly spent two years preparing for their Week 1 NFL game in Australia against the San Francisco 49ers. According to Medical Doctor Jesse Morse, the team has sent 15 staffers over the past two years to track players' sleep rhythms and body responses.

Morse posted on the social media platform X that this approach involved tracking "real data vs. guessing." This strategy differs from the San Francisco 49ers' plan, which involved arriving in Australia a week prior to the game to allow players time to acclimate to the new environment.

49ers offensive lineman Trent Williams stated on Wednesday that his body had adjusted to the conditions, and he was beginning to feel normal. In contrast, the Rams left Los Angeles on a Wednesday night, arriving in Australia on Thursday. Their intention is to fly back to Los Angeles immediately after the game, aiming to mitigate the effects of jet lag on the players.

Linebacker Byron Young described the Rams' travel accommodations as "boujee," noting they traveled on an A380 aircraft. The game is scheduled to kick off on Friday at 10:35 a.m. local time and will air in the U.S. on Thursday at 5:35 p.m. PT on Netflix.
