Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jack Bech sustained a fractured forearm during the team's 35-27 victory against the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome. The injury occurred when Bech collided with Saints safety Justin Reid in the end zone.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported following the game that the Raiders plan to place Bech on the team's injured reserve list. He is expected to return later this season.
Bech's return to New Orleans carried significant emotional weight, as it marked his first time playing in the Caesars Superdome since his brother, Tiger, was killed in a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street on New Year's Day. Before the game, Bech honored his brother by wearing a shirt that read "LLT," signifying "Live Like Tiger," and sported orange cleats with black tiger stripes.
In a previous interview with NFL columnist Vincent Bonsignore, Bech described the game as an opportunity to "rewrite a wrong and put a good taste in our mouth from New Orleans," aiming to create new memories in the city where he experienced tragedy.
Bech is in his second season with the Raiders, having been drafted in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. While he did not record any statistics in Sunday's game, he has been a consistent presence in the Raiders' receiving rotation, securing five receptions for 48 yards and one touchdown this season.
