Raiders Fan Trolls Taylor Swift's Appearance at Chiefs Game
A sign held by a fan during the Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs game targeted pop star Taylor Swift's looks, sparking mixed reactions online.
During the Raiders and Chiefs’ Sunday thriller at Allegiant Stadium, a fan displayed a sign with the faces of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, critiquing the pop star's appearance. The handmade sign read, “Scores 6’s on & off The Field.”
The post featuring the sign quickly gained traction on X, accumulating over 75,000 views within 22 hours. Online reactions were divided, with some users finding the sign humorous and others deeming it unnecessary.
One user on X defended Swift, writing, “The hate Taylor Swift gets is unwarranted. It’s the new Nickelback sucks meme.” Another commenter pointed out Swift's financial status and questioned the sign-maker's own standing: “Hilarious even is your not attracted to Swift she’s still a billionaire! Shes a 6 and you have what a 4 at home who makes 50k a year good call.”
Countering the fan's sentiment, another user argued, “There’s a whole football team to roast and we’re grading somebody’s wife? We can do better than that. Maybe direct that energy to your team losing this game.”
The Raiders ultimately lost the game to the Chiefs with a final score of 30-27. A late interception of Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins sealed the team's fate.
Kelce, a key player for the Chiefs, had a relatively quiet performance against the Raiders, recording only two receptions for 15 yards.
Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023. The couple reportedly married in July of this year.
