Nick Cody, a presenter on Fox FM's "Fifi, Fev & Nick" show, announced Wednesday morning that he and his wife, Lucia Smyrk, are expecting their third child in October. Cody, 41, revealed live on air that the couple is expecting another son, humorously stating their plan to "build their own footy team."

Cody shared the news with his co-hosts, Fifi Box and Brendan Fevola. He mentioned that their two sons, Charlie and Max, are eager to welcome their new baby brother. Fevola remarked on the prospect of three boys, contrasting it with his own experience with four daughters.

During the announcement, Cody joked about a recent ultrasound, claiming he could immediately identify the unborn child as his due to a "big ol' head." He added that he hoped the boys would not play Australian Rules Football like their father.

Cody and Smyrk, an Australian actress who has appeared in shows such as "Neighbours" and "Wentworth," have been married since February 2017. They welcomed their second son, Max Alistair Cody, in 2021. At the time of Max's birth, Cody reported that his elder son immediately claimed the baby's name was "dog."
