Radio host Mick Molloy has identified Gene Simmons of KISS and country music star Shania Twain as the most difficult celebrities he has interviewed.

Molloy, 60, shared his experiences on Triple M's "Mick in the Morning," describing Simmons as "the biggest jerk I've ever interviewed in my life." He elaborated that Simmons exhibited a know-it-all attitude and was quick to dismiss Molloy's points. "He was telling you why you were wrong before you'd even said anything. A jerk!" Molloy stated.

The radio personality also cited an interview with Shania Twain in the 1990s as particularly problematic due to what he characterized as excessive management. According to Molloy, Twain was accompanied by approximately 12 individuals in the studio, and he was given a list of questions by her publicist. He recounted that when he asked a question from the provided sheet, Twain responded with "Why would you ask me that?" This led Molloy and his co-host at the time, Tony Martin, to abandon the prepared questions and resort to asking nonsensical ones.

Molloy expressed his dissatisfaction with the Twain interview, calling it "the worst experience I've ever had." He later recalled a former BBC producer describing Twain as the biggest diva he had encountered in the industry.

In contrast to these negative experiences, Molloy also spoke in 2023 about positive encounters, highlighting an interview with "Seinfeld" actor Jason Alexander. Molloy described Alexander as "one of the nicest blokes I've ever met" and noted his willingness to interact with fans during a shared meal.

Molloy, known for his outspoken style, also shared an anecdote from 2024 about a robbery at his home. While thieves stole numerous valuables, they left behind his DVDs and CDs, notably excluding his 2002 Australian comedy film "Crackerjack." The film, which Molloy starred in, was a box office success and received a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
