Rachael Ray Addresses Health Concerns, Outlines Future Projects
The television personality assures fans she is 'doing great' and details upcoming work, including a new YouTube series.
Rachael Ray is continuing her television and digital projects while addressing recent public concerns about her health. A representative for the beloved cook and TV personality confirmed that Ray is focused on her existing FYI shows, "Rachael Ray's Meal in Minutes" and "Rachael Ray in Tuscany," both of which are available for streaming on A&E.
Viewers can also anticipate new content in the coming months, including a new series set to launch on YouTube. Ray remains engaged with her commercial ventures, such as her kitchen products, pet food line, and digital recipes, in addition to her philanthropic work through her namesake foundation.
The 58-year-old is reportedly “doing great” and “working hard,” according to a source, following a series of public appearances that led to fan concern. These concerns began in September 2024 when Ray's tribute to Tony Bennett, who died in July 2024 at age 96, included remarks that some viewers perceived as slurred speech. At the time, commenters on social media questioned her well-being.
The following month, Ray explained that she had experienced "a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks," though she did not provide further details. In May 2025, another Instagram video, in which Ray appeared to slur her words while discussing her past financial struggles, further fueled fan speculation, with some expressing that she "didn't look well."
In March, Ray addressed rumors directly in an interview with the Associated Press, stating, "My health is fine. I lift weights every morning, 4 o’clock, you know. I’m doing just fine." She also emphasized that she has "a great marriage" to her husband, John Cusimano, whom she married in September 2005.
Earlier this month, Ray told People that neither she nor her older sister have experienced "menopausal signs of any kind" and that she has "always had an easy time … when it comes to that kind of stuff."
Ray's long-running daytime show, "Rachael Ray," concluded in 2023. In the same year, she co-founded Free Food Studios. Her Staple Gin also held a meet-and-greet and bottle signing event where some attendees noted her behavior seemed unusual.
