QVC host Toni Brattin has detailed her thoughts and reactions following a viral on-air incident where she made an explicit slip of the tongue while showcasing her wig line.

Brattin, 66, was demonstrating a wig product on the shopping channel when she described its texture and wavy pattern as looking like she had "just got a b*** j**." She quickly corrected herself, stating the intended word was "blowout at your salon." Co-host Terri Conn attempted to steer the segment back on track by announcing a beauty sale.

In an interview with TMZ, Brattin revealed her immediate thought upon realizing her mistake was, "Did I just say what I think I did?" She explained that the words were out before she could retract them and that she heard crew members snickering, which caused her to laugh uncontrollably. She hoped the camera would cut away.

Brattin acknowledged the live television nature of the broadcast, stating, "It's live television and we all make mistakes, right?" She has taken the viral moment in stride, even finding humor in Jimmy Fallon's subsequent parody of the incident on "The Tonight Show." Fallon played the clip and mimicked Brattin's reaction, adding a comedic remark about the wigs selling out. Brattin expressed her amusement and even joked about sending Fallon a wig for his birthday.

The veteran host's reaction, including falling to the floor laughing, was also noted by viewers and shared on social media. Co-host Terri Conn posted the clip, captioning it, "The show must go on. Love you, Toni Brattin!" QVC itself commented on the incident, praising Conn's recovery and questioning if an award exists for "Best Live Blooper Recovery."

Brattin mentioned that QVC executives also found humor in the situation, with one executive emailing her the next day to say she handled it well and that they hoped she could laugh about it. Brattin, who regularly appears on QVC to promote her wig, hairpiece, skincare, and self-tanning products, has leveraged the increased attention to promote the specific wig involved in the incident, calling it the "wig that started it all" and offering it at a discounted price.

She is scheduled to appear on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" on Monday.
