Queen Rania and King Abdullah II of Jordan are grandparents once again following the birth of twin granddaughters to their daughter, Princess Iman. The twins, named Talia and Rania, were welcomed by Princess Iman and her husband, New York-based financier Jameel Thermiotis. The announcement was shared via an Instagram post from the King and Queen, accompanied by photographs of the royal couple holding the newborns.

This marks the addition of the King and Queen's third and fourth grandchildren within just over two years. Princess Iman and Thermiotis are also parents to a one-year-old daughter, Amina. The couple had kept Iman's pregnancy private for much of the year, with Queen Rania sharing a photo of her daughter with a baby bump in July.

Princess Iman, the eldest daughter of Queen Rania and King Abdullah, married Jameel Thermiotis in March 2023 in Amman, Jordan. Thermiotis, who was born in Venezuela to a Greek family, works as a Managing Partner for a venture capital fund in the United States, where the couple reportedly met. The engagement was marked by an emerald-cut diamond, and their wedding took place at the Beit Al Urdun Palace.

In 2024, Princess Iman's older brother, Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan, and his wife Rajwa welcomed a daughter, also named Iman. However, according to the constitution of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, neither Princess Iman nor her children are in line to the throne, which follows a hereditary line of male heirs.
