A Qantas flight at Sydney Airport was evacuated on Monday night after exhaust smoke from a ground vehicle entered the aircraft's cabin. The Airbus A220 was preparing for takeoff when the incident occurred.

Passengers were escorted off the plane. Following an inspection, no issues were found with the aircraft itself. The flight was scheduled to depart for Melbourne.

Those passengers were later transferred to a different flight that departed on Tuesday morning.
