A Cocker Spaniel puppy named Gösta is capturing the attention of social media users with a condition that causes him to pass out when he gets too excited. Gösta was diagnosed with narcolepsy and cataplexy, a rare neurological disorder characterized by sudden, uncontrollable sleep and loss of muscle control, when he was just nine weeks old.

Cocker spaniels are often known for their cheerful dispositions, earning them the nickname 'merry cockers.' However, for Gösta, his enthusiastic nature leads to unexpected naps. His owners have shared videos on social media depicting Gösta falling asleep during walks, while enjoying treats, and during playtime with another dog. These moments have garnered widespread adoration online.
