Puka Nacua Reaches Agreement to End Paternity Dispute with Ex-Girlfriend
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver and Hallie Aiono resolve custody and support issues for their son.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, 25, and his ex-girlfriend Hallie Aiono have reached an agreement to end a paternity dispute over their one-year-old son, Kingston. The couple's son was born in October 2025, shortly after their split.
Aiono had filed a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court in June 2025 seeking to confirm Nacua as the father, request full physical custody, and establish joint legal custody with visitation rights. However, according to The California Post, the former couple have now resolved these matters.
Filing documents submitted to an LA County Court this week reportedly show that both parties and their lawyers have agreed on terms concerning child custody, visitation, child support, and attorney fees. They are also said to have settled on the division of 'reasonable costs of pregnancy and birth.' The specifics of the agreement were not publicly disclosed, with Nacua and Aiono reportedly stating that the terms are confidential. Both parties have acknowledged that the case may now be decided as an uncontested matter, pending a judge's approval.
Nacua and Aiono began their relationship in 2021 while attending Brigham Young University. Aiono was present to support Nacua as he achieved NFL rookie records in receiving yards in 2023.
Earlier this year, Aiono shared a TikTok video discussing her mental health struggles, alluding to betrayal and neglect during their relationship. She stated that while public events affected her, private issues had been particularly damaging.
Nacua is also currently awaiting a verdict from the NFL regarding potential disciplinary action for off-field conduct. He faces accusations of biting a woman and making an antisemitic statement during a New Year's Eve incident, which is the subject of a civil lawsuit. Nacua entered rehab during the offseason and has spoken about undergoing self-reflection. He has worked with a Rams therapist and attended weekly meetings to improve his daily structure, stating the experience provided a chance to learn from his situations and become more aware of his conduct both on and off the field.
