A psychiatrist testified that she never saw Lindsay Clancy in person and did not have access to the mother's complete medical records before she strangled her three young children. The testimony came on day 11 of Clancy's murder trial in Plymouth County Superior Court.

Nurse Julie Paul, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, had briefly treated Clancy in November 2022, two months prior to the deaths of Cora, five, Dawson, three, and eight-month-old Callan. Paul connected with Clancy through her mother-in-law, Sue Clancy, who was also a nurse.

Paul testified that Clancy was experiencing anxiety, racing thoughts, and significant sleep difficulties. Paul prescribed Prozac on November 21, 2022, and later that week, prescribed Ambien, Remeron, and Klonopin. By late November, Paul was relocating to another hospital and transferred Clancy's care to another nurse.

At that time, Clancy was also under the care of Dr. Jennifer Tufts. Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, questioned Tufts extensively on Monday regarding her experience and the quality of care provided to Clancy in the four months leading up to the killings. Nurse Paul was expected to return to the stand for cross-examination by the defense.
