A volatile confrontation occurred Tuesday outside Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles, where a woman encouraged her young son to display a middle finger to supporters of President Donald Trump.
The scene unfolded in Rancho Palos Verdes as Trump supporters, many wearing MAGA gear, gathered peacefully for a Republican National Committee roundtable.
Across the street, anti-Trump demonstrators, including children, shouted profanities. One young protester made repeated accusations that Trump is a sexual assailant. The woman in question, wearing a hat that read “Deport Melania,” approached the MAGA supporters with her son, who also wore a similar hat. She loudly proclaimed, “Donald Trumped raped a woman,” and later added, “My kids know that Donald Trump rapes women.” She then pointed to a young girl in MAGA attire and shouted, “Donald Trump rapes kids.”
Anti-Trump demonstrators on bicycles revved their engines, directing smoke toward the Trump supporters.
This confrontation followed the arrest of 38-year-old Jeanine John Taele on Sunday at the golf course. Authorities reportedly found him with a loaded pistol and a 16-round magazine of hollow-point ammunition. A search of his residence yielded an illegally modified AR-platform rifle, a .45-caliber pistol, body armor, and additional ammunition. Officials stated there was no credible threat connected to the president’s visit.
The incident occurred amidst ongoing heightened security for the president, who has faced multiple assassination attempts and security breaches in recent years.
