A Chinese-Canadian educator and political commentator, Jiang Xueqin, known as 'China's Nostradamus' for past accurate geopolitical forecasts, has issued a stark warning for 2027, culminating in predictions of widespread unrest and potential civil war within the United States.

Jiang's analysis, shared on a podcast, posits a chain of events beginning with an escalation in the conflict involving Iran. He anticipates a full-scale war in the region that could draw the U.S. into a decade-long ground intervention. This prolonged military engagement, according to Jiang, would necessitate the reintroduction of a national military draft, potentially requiring service from individuals as young as 18.

Escalation and Domestic Impact

The commentator further predicts a significant expansion of the power and presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in major U.S. cities. This increased enforcement, coupled with the National Guard's potential deployment to urban centers, is seen as a precursor to widespread economic instability and subsequent civil disorder.

Jiang's framework for predicting future events involves analyzing national and leader motivations, comparing current situations to historical patterns of conflict, and assessing the influence of deeply held beliefs, such as those related to apocalyptic prophecies.

He suggested that political leaders, including former President Donald Trump, are driven by specific goals, such as securing a third presidential term, which could influence their foreign policy decisions. Jiang believes that a perceived mission to save America and win a war in Iran, with the ultimate aim of retaining power in 2028, could be a key motivator.

Economic Collapse and Societal Unrest

A critical element of Jiang's predictions for 2027 is a global economic collapse, potentially triggered by repeated blockades of the Strait of Hormuz. He highlighted the strait's crucial role in global energy and shipping, noting that past disruptions in 2026 already led to sharp increases in oil, gas, and fertilizer prices. A further shutdown, he warns, could destabilize the international financial system and lead to the collapse of the American economy.

Regarding the prediction of a U.S. civil war, Jiang clarified that he does not envision conventional large-scale battles. Instead, he foresees pervasive civil unrest, characterized by protests, riots, low-level conflicts, and localized insurgencies. These events would largely be a reaction to the heightened presence of law enforcement and military personnel in American cities.

Jiang Xueqin's prior predictions, which supporters claim have accurately foreseen Donald Trump's 2024 election victory and the U.S. involvement in a conflict with Iran during his second term, lend weight to his current forecasts. He stated that the groundwork for a national draft could be in place by 2027, with ICE becoming significantly more influential as authorities prepare for economic fallout. The commentator also suggested that if America were to lose the conflict in Iran, it would signify the downfall of its economy.

By 2030, Jiang foresees a broader ideological struggle between 'globalists' and 'nationalists' intensifying in both the United States and Europe.
