Pro-Palestine Group Targets UK Defence Firm Executives' Homes

Police are investigating a series of nighttime raids targeting the homes of executives from defense companies, actions claimed by a group called The List. The group published images of individuals vandalizing cars and property, accusing them of aiding Israel's military.

In one incident, a female executive's car tires were slashed and red paint was thrown at her house. Another property was spray-painted with the slogan "baby killers." Counterterrorism officers are reportedly assisting local forces with the criminal damage investigations.

The List claims to have targeted homes of individuals working for defense firms, including Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit, and investors who lease land to the company. An engineer for Leonardo, an American defense technology firm that supplies targeting systems for Israel's F-35 fighter jets, had red paint splashed on two vehicles.

The activists issued a warning: "quit your job, or risk a visit from The List." The group stated, "Through research, hacking, whistleblowers and leaks we have built up an extensive bank of addresses and personal information of those whose lives are dedicated to the genocide of the Palestinian people."

Lord Walney, a former government adviser on political violence, described The List's actions as "disturbing and inexcusable" and a "sinister escalation" of tactics previously employed by Palestine Action. He urged ministers to act swiftly against the group.

Leonardo confirmed that the safety of its employees is a priority and that the affected individual is receiving support. The company is cooperating with the ongoing police investigation.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed they are investigating a criminal damage incident that occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, involving red paint thrown at a house and damaged car tires. Inquiries are ongoing.

It remains unclear if The List has any affiliation with Palestine Action, an activist group previously designated as a terrorist organization by the UK Home Office. Palestine Action members were responsible for incidents including breaking into RAF Brize Norton and defacing aircraft with red paint, as well as a raid on an Elbit factory in August 2024.
