Private Jet Skids Off Runway at Las Vegas Airport

A private jet aborted its takeoff and skidded off the end of a runway at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Sunday morning. The aircraft, identified as a Dassault Falcon 50 with tail number N200SG, was departing from Runway 1L around 11 a.m. when the incident occurred.

The jet made contact with the airport's perimeter fence after leaving the runway. Airport officials confirmed that there were no known injuries associated with the incident.

In response to the incident, Runways 1R and 1L were closed for inspection, leading to potential delays for travelers. The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop for the airport, citing an "aircraft emergency." Airport officials advised travelers to check with their airlines for the latest flight status updates.

According to FAA registry records, the three-engine business jet is owned by Jacks Wings LLC, based in Boca Raton, Florida.
