A private jet carrying seven people crash-landed in a field near the Porterville Municipal Airport in California on Tuesday morning. All individuals on board were able to exit the aircraft without major injuries.

Crews from the Porterville Fire Department responded to the incident at approximately 11:45 a.m. local time. Upon arrival, firefighters found that six passengers had already exited the Cessna 560XL. The crew then worked with pilots and other emergency personnel to secure the aircraft's power sources.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that seven people were on board the flight, which had taken off from Oakland International Airport earlier that day. The FAA has stated that it will investigate the cause of the crash.

Images from the scene showed the private jet resting on its belly in a field, with damage visible to the aircraft's nose. The Porterville Police Department reported that everyone inside the plane was able to safely disembark. Officials have not yet determined the cause of the incident.

Authorities advised the public to avoid the area for several days to allow investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) to conduct their work. Residents were also cautioned about potential delays and road closures associated with the ongoing investigation.
