The body of Conor Anderson, a New Yorker who disappeared while on a work trip in Nashville, was found by private investigators last Thursday. The 31-year-old’s remains were located in a wooded area adjacent to a parking lot near Nashville’s James Robertson Parkway, four days after he was last seen. His cause of death remains unknown.

The family of Anderson, who was originally from Huntington, New York, and lived in Colorado, hired the private investigative firm Covert Results to assist in the search. Investigators began by retracing Anderson's last known steps, reviewing surveillance footage, and speaking with witnesses. Their efforts included speaking with individuals who frequented the area where Anderson was last seen.

This led the investigators to the wooded area near James Robertson Parkway. Anderson's body was discovered just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, less than five hours after Covert Results was engaged. The area where he was found was described as heavily wooded and difficult to access.

Anderson had reportedly spoken with police hours before he went missing. The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed his body was found Wednesday in the wooded area next to a parking lot at 14 James Robertson Parkway.
