Axel Rudakubana, 19, has been charged with three counts of assault on prison staff at HMP Belmarsh. The Metropolitan Police announced the charges on Tuesday, stemming from alleged incidents that occurred in 2025.
Rudakubana is also facing a charge related to possessing a weapon within the prison. The charges follow a series of alleged attacks on correctional officers at the high-security facility.
