Priscilla Presley Appears in Germany with Son Navarone
The actress and musician attended an event in Baesweiler ahead of a tribute to Elvis Presley.
Priscilla Presley made a rare public appearance with her son, Navarone Garibaldi, in Baesweiler, Germany, on Tuesday. Presley, 81, and her musician son, 39, were seen as she signed the town's Golden Book ahead of an event celebrating her life with Elvis Presley.
In a video shared by Hello! Magazine, Presley expressed her anticipation for the evening, stating she was looking forward to "a wonderful evening with all of you." Garibaldi, who accompanied his mother, shared that he was "just happy to be traveling with [his] mom" and thanked attendees for their kindness.
The mother-son duo both wore all-black attire for the occasion. Presley is scheduled to host her stage show, "An Evening with Priscilla Presley," on Wednesday at the Päd. Zentrum im Gymnasium in Baesweiler. The event, hosted by Dennis Jale, will feature Presley sharing personal anecdotes, rare film archives, and a question-and-answer session about her life with Elvis Presley, who died in 1977.
Priscilla Presley shared daughter Lisa Marie Presley with Elvis. Lisa Marie died in January 2023 from complications of a small bowel obstruction. Priscilla's son, Navarone, is from her relationship with ex-partner Marco Garibaldi.
Navarone Garibaldi has largely lived away from the public spotlight. In 2020, he spoke about his past struggles with drug use, including heroin and synthetic fentanyl, and his subsequent recovery with his mother's assistance. This past summer, Garibaldi launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for an organic pizza business, which drew some public criticism, which he addressed on Instagram.
