A number of individuals have been arrested for allegedly threatening three Scots College students who stand accused of raping a teenage girl, according to the school's principal. The alleged sexual assault occurred on July 22.

Dr. Ian Lambert, the principal, informed parents in an email on Sunday that police had arrested young people, none of whom are students at Scots College, in connection with recent activities directed at those involved in the ongoing investigation. Police are also monitoring online commentary and have urged young people not to post threats or organize actions.

Two of the accused students, aged 13 and 14, have been charged with aggravated sexual assault in company and two counts of aggravated sexual touching. A third 14-year-old student faces charges of one count of aggravated sexual assault in company and one count of aggravated sexual touching. The three boys were arrested on Thursday.

The authorities have stated they are aware of concerning online commentary and have requested that young people refrain from posting threats, organizing actions, or otherwise involving themselves in the matter.
