Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have welcomed their third child, a daughter named Baby Girl Brooksbank. The announcement was made on Tuesday, with the newborn joining older brothers August and Ernest.
Eugenie shared the news on Instagram, captioning a photo of the infant: "Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie. 💓💓💓💓💓" The image showed the baby girl in a pink onesie, holding one of her parents' fingers.
The couple had announced in May that they were expecting, sharing a sonogram photo with the caption, "Baby Brooksbank due 2026!"
Eugenie, 36, and Brooksbank, 40, have been a couple since 2011. They met during a ski trip in Switzerland and became engaged in January 2018, marrying later that year at Windsor Castle's St George's Chapel. Their first son, August, was born in February 2021, followed by their second son, Ernest, in May 2023.
This announcement comes amidst public attention on Eugenie's father, Prince Andrew, due to his past associations. While Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson have faced scrutiny, Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice, have not publicly commented on the matter. Royal expert Emily Nash noted that it remains uncertain whether the sisters' royal titles could be affected in the future.
