Catherine, the Princess of Wales, has completed a personal Three Peaks Challenge, climbing England's Scafell Pike, Scotland's Ben Nevis, and finishing on Yr Wyddfa in Wales. The challenge was undertaken in aid of the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she has been treated for cancer. Following the final ascent on Yr Wyddfa, Catherine reunited with her family.
Catherine's brother shared his pride on Instagram, stating it was an honor to have completed the challenge alongside her. He recalled a conversation two years prior about climbing mountains together, noting the therapeutic power of nature for both physical and mental well-being. He described his sister's journey as inspiring, highlighting her strength, resilience, and determination while balancing her roles as a mother, wife, daughter, and sister.
After summiting the peaks, the princess expressed her gratitude for the charity, calling it a place of great personal significance whose care and expertise are life-changing for many.
