Princes William and Harry Undertake Separate Royal Duties Amidst Family Tensions

Princes William and Harry were engaged in separate official duties on Thursday, marking their first public appearances since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's return to the UK and the controversy surrounding Earl Spencer's recently released memoir.
Prince William and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, visited the Isle of Bute in Scotland. As the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, they engaged with locals at the Bute Shinty Club, trying their hand at the traditional Gaelic sport. Despite heavy rain, the couple participated with smiles, with William attempting a shot and Catherine also taking a swing after receiving a suggestion from her husband. The royal pair also dedicated time to environmental efforts, collecting litter at Ettrick Bay.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry was in London for the inaugural Spirit of Invictus Awards ceremony at the Old Naval College in Greenwich. He appeared in good spirits, interacting with wounded veterans and taking selfies with attendees. When approached by a reporter, Harry ignored a question about his uncle Earl Spencer's memoir, "Swan Song: Diana, My Sister," which has reportedly caused friction between Earl Spencer and the King.
Harry, who is the founder of the Invictus Games, expressed his excitement about meeting the award nominees. He was seen wearing military and jubilee medals, along with insignia from the Royal Victorian Order, an award he received in 2015 from the late Queen Elizabeth II for personal service to the monarchy.
