The Prince of Wales, 44, has been recognized as the best-dressed man of the British summer, according to a poll conducted by the Daily Mail. His formal morning dress, complete with a top hat and tails, worn at his cousin Peter Phillips' wedding in June, secured the top spot.
Prince William also received accolades for his sophisticated appearance at Royal Ascot, where he paired his attire with yellow flowers on his lapel. Actor Tom Hiddleston, 45, and celebrity chef Marcus Wareing were also noted for their positive sartorial choices at Wimbledon. Hiddleston was particularly praised for a striped dress shirt and patterned tie ensemble, while Wareing's cream suit and dusky blue tie also garnered favorable reviews.
Hollywood actor Stanley Tucci, 65, also made the top five for an elegant off-white suit he wore at Wimbledon. The poll, however, also identified those who failed to impress. Radio DJ Greg James, 40, received only 15.6 percent of positive votes for a Wimbledon outfit consisting of beige chinos, a black blazer, and a white shirt.
Other individuals who did not fare well in the poll included Paapa Essiedu and Hozier for their all-beige outfits at Wimbledon, and Nick Grimshaw and Bobby Brazier for their ensembles at the Chelsea Flower Show. Dermot Kennedy, 34, ultimately ranked last for his pastel blue trousers and cream top combination.
The poll surveyed various summer events, including high-society weddings, the races, and tennis championships, to rank men's fashion choices based on reader votes. The positive percentage for each ensemble was calculated by comparing up and down votes.
