Prince William Reveals Favorite TV Show and Film Tastes
The Prince of Wales made a rare television appearance on "The Graham Norton Show," sharing his family's enjoyment of "The Celebrity Traitors" and his appreciation for Christopher Nolan's films.

Prince William shared his current favorite television show is "The Celebrity Traitors" during a notable appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" on Friday.
"I love it, the family love it," the Prince of Wales said of the BBC One competition series. "Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good telly," William, 44, told host Graham Norton.
The Prince of Wales was a guest on the show alongside actors Cate Blanchett and Hannah Waddingham, conservationist Robert Irwin, and singer Jorja Smith.
During the interview, William also discussed his personal viewing preferences, stating he enjoys unwinding with music and film. "I love getting immersed in deep-thinking films," he said, adding, "I like action films too, but I like something a bit different."
He expressed particular admiration for the work of director Christopher Nolan, noting, "I’m a big fan of everything Christopher Nolan does. His films [are] fantastic – ‘The Dark Knight’ series is psychologically dark and deep, and I absolutely love that. He takes concepts that are completely out there and makes them incredibly entertaining."
William's appearance on the talk show also served as an opportunity to discuss The Earthshot Prize, an initiative he founded in 2020. The award aims to "celebrate and scale the solutions that will repair our planet by 2030."
He explained that the prize was conceived to counter the often overwhelming negativity surrounding environmental issues. "For many years I was hearing stories about environment issues and one thing that struck me was the negativity and doom which got me down," William shared. "I thought we could do something more powerful and more optimistic and the idea of an awards’ ceremony came about and we could talk about urgency and optimism together. It’s all about getting excited."
William recently took on increased royal duties, including representing King Charles at the welcoming of the Sultan of Oman for a state visit to the UK, amid the King's ongoing cancer treatment.
