Prince William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, experienced enthusiastic receptions during their visit to the Isle of Bute in Scotland. The couple, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, were on the island to acknowledge its community spirit and volunteer efforts.

During a walkabout, Prince William was met with a fan's comment calling him 'fit,' which elicited a blush and laughter from the Prince. He responded, "Stop, you'll make me blush." Their day concluded at the community-owned Anchor Tavern Pub and Hub in Port Bannatyne, where William praised the volunteer-run model and Kate described it as "special."

The visit occurred amidst reports of a public dispute involving King Charles and Earl Spencer, who has made claims in a new memoir regarding Princess Diana. The palace has not directly commented on these specific claims, but a spokesperson stated that "fraternal grief can cloud reason."
