Prince Harry revealed his disappointment over England's recent World Cup semi-final loss to Argentina. When asked by Page Six at the TIME100 Sports Gala in New York City on Thursday if he was sad about the outcome, the Duke of Sussex responded, "of course."

Argentina secured a 2-1 victory over England in the match, which took place on Wednesday in Atlanta, Georgia. The win followed a dramatic comeback by the Argentinian team.

Prince Harry attended the TIME100 Sports Gala solo. He was observed engaging in conversation with TIME CEO Jessica Sibley at the event.

Earlier this year, Prince Harry returned from a trip to the UK that was reportedly marred by issues concerning security and accommodation. According to reports, his invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace was "withdrawn at the last moment." Despite these difficulties, he was able to visit the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, where they reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House. This marked the first time in four years that King Charles had seen his grandchildren.

However, royal reporter Russell Myers told People that the family trip "turned into a nightmare" due to security concerns, which led to Markle and their children returning to California earlier than planned. Another source indicated that while Markle is "very supportive" of her husband, there is "a lot of sadness" surrounding the trip's outcome. Reports also suggest that Prince William and Prince Harry remain estranged, with "no contact" between the brothers despite Harry's recent visit with their father.
